ReplyDeleteand def like the fantasia (magic)(show) of spring...ha..i have a nervous tick from too much winter maybe...lol
I enjoyed each of these, Gay; but the one with the swans stood out in my mind, as I have an affinity for swans. Love the photo and the reflection (in tabletop & words).
ReplyDeleteThese are all lovely. I especially like the fantasia.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely, especially Spring as fantasia.
ReplyDeleteRock for earth--Crystal for stars--Flora for life--Swans for our fellow creatures--ALL for beauty.......... I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteloved the pic on the crystals... so pretty
ReplyDeleteGay, these are so beautiful. Love the pics, especially the first, as I adore amethysts.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of having show jitters at the arrival of spring made me smile! A beautiful series of photos, especially the swans.
ReplyDeletewonderful photos! and great flow of sentences as well.. fits very nicely
ReplyDeleteGood American sentences, my favorite is the last one. We all have show jitters! :)
ReplyDeleteHa, yes, show jitters indeed. Love all of these, and the phrase American sentences. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely American sentences Gay specially the last one - spring into fantasia ~ Happy Tuesday ~
ReplyDeleteOh - how excellent to do it with American sentence - I like the first one particalarly
ReplyDeleteI think "show jitters" is not widely said - it's that "butterflies in the tummy" thing one gets before going onstage. I think we all get giddy as spring approaches ;-)
DeleteI love the unexpected here. The way the words are compressed together. Nice shots too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your macro views from home, Gay! I thoroughly enjoyed these "gems" :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I'm partial to the first as I'm drawn to amythests. Your use of American sentences is appropriate here and your choices are right on.
ReplyDeletePerfect! Great choice of form in the American Sentence, and love those images!
ReplyDeleteAmethyst....frozen in space and shot through a star...just gorgeous!
ReplyDeletelike this
ReplyDeleteAll three work beautifully; my favorite is the first one for image, the second one for the verse--hey, I always do well with American sentences; didn't think of it--so I just thought of Twitter poetry, & launched everything from there.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed what you created using American sentences..I have to try that form again.
ReplyDeleteAmerican sentences is a new one to me (showing my ignorance of poetic form here, that's why I have so much to learn from you all!). Stunning photos and such rich 'sentences' too.
ReplyDeleteLovely visuals Gay - enjoyed the last one most.
ReplyDeleteA great take on the prompt ---often wish I could paint glass and light as if it were real...nature's way ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your description of the amethyst...one of my favorite stones. Your lines and photos complement beautifully...thanks for sharing, Gay.
ReplyDeleteThough I loved all of these, the 1st one grabbed me because of the astro-physical elements. Shoot anything through a star, and you'll have me eating from the palm of your hands!
ReplyDeletelovely...it's hard to pick a favorite...but I do feel a bit for the silver swan.
ReplyDeleteThank you - he sails on the dark side - tarnish takes to him while those crystal ballerinas soak up the sun(spot)light. :-)
Delete(He is a particular favorite of mine)
Show jitters indeed--Show me some Spring! Ha. It is 1 degree where I live--I'm i the City so a bit warmer, but very frigid. Thanks, these are all charming and bring a smile and moment of reflection. k. (My micropoetry is okay but if you do go to my place there's a poem about NYC you may like better since you are interested in the city. Don't feel obligated! Take care, Gay.) K.
