  1. Played around with this all afternoon. Not quite a poem - probably more a statement - but at least I addressed the notion and maybe that counts too.

  3. Gay, this is so very beautiful. I have no idea how you manage to accomplish such a thing....but it needs to be a wall hanging and also to have a greater audience. Kudos!

    1. I know Grace - we are all so much more alike than we are different..how do we end this need for tribal groups and alienation. So unnecessary.

  12. "And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:" (Genesis, 28:20-21)

  16. "deep desire
    buried in
    every heart
    yearning
    learning . . ."

True, true, and A-z of how to learn,
    Amen!
Beauty-full word art and I like your peace globe as well.

  17. I love this, got so much from reading it. A prayer one moment, an incantation next, and at the end what it always was: a very fine piece of poetry with a job to do - which it did well. The beauty of it was matched by the lovely images.

  18. I first read this the way I think you meant us to, and then I read it horizontally, it was very interesting both ways.
